    If you are going north or east the mile markers will get bigger. The small sign on top of an exit sign will tell you which side of the road the actual exit will be. Google 75/40 split for a visual. The most amazing fact is you are 78% less likely to get your ass ran over if you use your signling light. 😂😂😂

    I have a 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200XC, so it’s that same engine you’re working on. This bike is new with only 2000 miles on it. Is it possible that the valves could be making a noise that sounds like knocking? While my bike was in the shop to repair an oil leak on the driveshaft, and dealership also did the annual service which includes an oil and filter…..it comes out of shop when the knocking that wasn’t there before. I noticed it right away. I uploaded two short videos on my channel so you can take a quick listen. I would love your opinion on this because I’d hate for any engine damage to occur. Thank you !

    The additive seems thicker than the oil. It might click like that because it takes a little for the oil to get mixed in right and flow throughout the oiling channels. It might be other things, but circumstances don't favor other reasons (you drained the oil and poured stuff in, didn't change other things) Make sure to take a look at cam chain tension when their time comes.

    Well, I use the Rear brake for slow maneuvers only. 90% of my braking occurs using the front brakes. Trail braking in every corner, using the front brakes (load shifts forward, increased size of contact patch, shortens wheelbase, AND, I can tighten the diameter of the curve) using just the front brakes. I always drive with two fingers on the front Brake Lever, reducing reaction time and stopping distance, especially in an emergency stopping scenario. I go through front brake pads far more than rear. Just my honest opinion.

    You literally clip together scenes to add a voiceover to and you still manage to add other bikes in the clips besides Kawasaki. Doing that while making reference to Kawasaki basically shows your lack of correlating relevant information. While everything you said is true it is so overshadowed by adding other bikes in the mix.

    When l bought Hondas in the old days I didn't care if it came with a warranty because it was a Honda. They ran great until the day they died. My Sportster has outlasted all of my Honda's put together. The exhaust system on my BMW lasted 40 years. Electronics waiting to have a expensive failure. ABS failure on a modern BMW is$2,400. RE650 ABS repair cost$1,600 to fix. My CX500went 250,000 miles in 10 years when the cam chain broke and totally destroyed the engine. Cam chains snap regardless of regular adjustments. New Triumphs required expensive dealer valve adjustment because of shim under bucket valve adjustment. I run cheap tires that last a long time. I got 10,000 miles on a back tire and 20,000 out of a front tire.l change the fluids and filter in 30 minutes in my driveway. My old Triumph Tr-6 is much cheaper to maintain . Valve adjustment and oil changes are easy. My hard tail is easy on chains. The new ones are very expensive to maintain. I have had my Triumph Tr-6 with a hard tail and magneto for 40 years. She's a good motorcycle 🏍️. You should have kept your Sportster. It would be much cheaper to maintain over the long run. $7,000 of warranty claims over 3 years. $12,000 costs over 100,000 is a lot of money. Just saying.

    • @Jedz123
      @Jedz123 Месяц назад

      I had a Sportster and it was a wretch of a motorcycle. XR1200 absolutely hated it, always broke down and left me stranded, after 15K miles I had enough. Also hated the way it rode, too long and too heavy. I actually got rid of it for my T120, the far superior machine IMHO despite it's flaws it has been "OK" now that it's over 100K miles. the Japanese rigs I've owned are far more reliable. My Gen 1 Yamaha FZ1 still ranks best MC I've ever owned just needing filters, tires, pads and fluids nearly 100K miles on those FZ1s. You couldn't pay me to own a Harley, The T120 is a modern motorcycle, cruise control and plenty of amps to power all my accessories, heated and lights. Glad you enjoy your Harley. But different stroked for different folks. Thanks,

  • @frankmarkovcijr5459
    @frankmarkovcijr5459 Месяц назад

    I have had my Sportster for 25 years and 400,000 miles on the original engine and 37 back tires and 17 front ones and 3 belts in 25 years. It has hydraulic valve adjustment and belt drive which means all you have to do is change the fluids and filter. Cheaper per mile cost than a new Triumph. Glad to see you have a decent amount of miles on the bike. Most people think 1,000 miles are a lot. HaHa.

I haven’t put a lot of miles on it……about 4,000, and the only issue I had was a rough idle when the engine was good and warm. Turns out just needed to change the spark plugs and now she runs perfect! Most people will not do the amount of mileage in the video but I do agree the Japanese brands will definitely hold up better under extreme use.
